MORDECHAI BEN DAVID
MBD (Mordechai Ben David) is the most prominent and influential Jewish music artist
of the past half century. Known as the King of Jewish Music, MBD has recorded over
40 albums since the 1970s, blending traditional Jewish liturgical melodies with
contemporary musical arrangements. His powerful vocals and charismatic stage presence
have made him a beloved figure worldwide, and his songs are staples at all Jewish events.
We are fortunate to once again feature MBD at KMR this Pesach to share his
unique brand of soulful, uplifting Jewish music with us.

BENNY FRIEDMAN
Singer Benny Friedman has been with us at
KMR from the beginning of his career, entertaining and
inspiring our guests for the past thirteen years.
His upbeat style and strong connection with the
audience never fail to delight. This year, Benny joins us
for a concert you will never forget!

PUMPIDISA
Pumpidisa is not just a great band with a sweet, energetic vibe.
It's an experience, and a lifestyle. Comprised exclusively of young,
enthusiastic and worldly musicians from the NY community, most of our
members spent years living in Israel, where we draw our core creative inspiration.
That, together with an intense desire to spread spiritual light and
love into the world through our music, is what binds us together
and makes Pumpidisa greater than the sum of its parts.

RIVI SCHWEBEL
Rivie Schwebel and his sons, Eli Schwebel and Avrumi
Schwebel, bring their rich musical heritage to life. Known as the
Lion of Jewish Music, Rivie’s dramatic, unforgettable tenor
has inspired generations, defining the sound of Dveykus and
elevating Jewish music for decades.

ELI SCHWEBEL
Eli, a renowned singer-songwriter, producer, and the lead
singer of Lev Tahor, carries his father’s tone while bringing his own rich,
breathy vocals and powerful artistry, pushing the boundaries of Jewish
music by blending the current with the timeless.

AVRUMI SCHWEBEL
Avrumi’s deep, resonant tenor beautifully intertwines the
vocals of Zaidy Schwebel with his father’s iconic sound,
creating a rare and moving depth. Together, their voices form
breathtaking harmonies, filling the room with warmth,
love, and the power of tradition.
