Island Line Trail in Causeway Park

The Island Line Trail in Burlington, Vermont, extends over 12 miles from town. Four of those miles are on the Colchester Causeway, at water level over beautiful Lake Champlain. The trail stops at “The Cut” where sailboats fly through a gap in the causeway under full sail, and a Bike Ferry carries hikers and bikers to the other side to continue the journey to Grand Isle and South Hero.
