DISNEY’S CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE® PARK

Disney’s California Adventure Park is the theme park adjacent to Disneyland Park and part of the larger Disneyland Resort. It opened on February 8, 2001. This 55-acre theme park was constructed as part of a major expansion that transformed the Disneyland area and its hotels into the Disneyland Resort and consists of five areas: Sunshine Plaza, Hollywood Pictures Backlot, The Golden State, A Bug’s Land and Paradise Pier. Each area is meant to resemble various aspects of California, its culture, landmarks and history. Park includes The California Screamin’ roller coaster, The Tower of Terror attraction, Golden Gate Bridge replica, Boardwalk, Ferris Wheel, Beer Garden, rides for young children, entertainment and much much more!

Big Bear is home to Southern California's winter playground! It's just a short drive away to play in the snow. The mountain resort is loaded with winter and year-round activities. Skiing can go through April and sometimes event into May. It all depends on how the winter went. Last year some mountains were still skiing into the month of May. This Year Big Bear's ski resorts' goal is to remain open until April 24. Please call before you make the drive up and confirm if Skiing and other snow activates are still available.
Big Bear Lake is home to Southern California's two premier ski resorts. Snow Summit and "The Park" at Bear Mountain. Skiers and snowboarders are not the only ones taking advantage of Big Bear's snow-covered mountains. Other Activities in Big Bear include: snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, downhill inner tubing, alpine sliding, backcountry off-roading, sledding, hiking, ziplining, fishing, biking, horseback riding, shopping and other mountain activities.
