Big Bear is home to Southern California’s winter playground! It’s just a short drive away to play in the snow. The mountain resort is loaded with winter and year-round activities. Skiing can go through April and sometimes event into May. It all depends on how the winter went. Last year some mountains were still skiing into the month of May. Please find out closer to Pesach if Skiing and other snow activates are still available.

Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain and Big Bear Snow Play both have snowmaking systems to ensure there is always snow for inner tubing thrill seekers. Each facility also makes it easy to get up the hill with a Magic Carpet ride to the top. The moving conveyor belt eliminates the stress of climbing the hill and provides more opportunity for having fun. Alpine Sliding is open year-round.

Experience the sensation of flying through the air just like a bird. Zip lining tours in Big Bear Lake give you the opportunity to do just that. Guests suspend high above the forest floor overlooking mountain vistas and zip through forested landscapes and cross over rocky canyons. Highly trained guides facilitate the entire tour from equipment checks to clipping in each participant to the zip lines.
