KICING HORSE RIVER RAFTING CLASSIC (FROM BANFF OR LAKE LOUISE)

- This exhilarating day white water rafting the Kicking Horse River, combines the excellent rapids of the famous whitewater trip with the scenic, gentler upper section of the Kicking Horse River. You'll enjoy over 25kms, and 2½ to 3 hours of rafting time.
- At the newly built RiverBase, you'll meet your guides as they assist you in selecting your personal and safety gear. After changing in the warm, indoor changerooms, you'll receive a thorough safety briefing, preparing you for your journey, first-timer or experienced rafting veteran! MILE 5 WHITEWATER RAFTING TRIP (FROM JASPER)
Highlights:
- This trip begins just south of the Marmot Basin turn off and ends at Old Fort Point, covering about 8km.
- The most popular run as you can paddle it at all water levels.
- The Mile 5 consistently offers a good introduction to whitewater rafting. Most people in the raft will get wet but there is little likelihood that anyone will fall out.
- This trip begins with a 15 min float which allows individuals to feel comfortable before hitting the first set of rapids. Great mountain scenery and splashes.
Suitable for: This river run is graded class II, and is best suited for families and people who want an introduction to white water.

WHITEWATER RAFTING THE ATHABASCA FALLS (FROM JASPER)
Highlights:
- This trip begins at the base of Athabasca Falls and ends about 12km south of Jasper. The Falls run is very similar to the Mile 5, except there is more time on water and covers about 12km.
- This trip begins with a bang as the largest and longest set of rapids are at the start. At the end of the first set of rapids the trip enter a canyon, which is only accessible by water. For the first hour of the trip there are no roads or trail alongside of the river, just you and your raft!
- The last 20 min is a scenic float back to the bus.
- This trip provides awesome scenery. We highly recommend this trip for people who are a bit nervous, afraid of water and for families with young children.
Suitable for: This river run is graded class II, and is best suited for families and people who want an introduction to white water.

SUNWAPTA FALLS WHITE WATER RAFTING TRIP (FROM JASPER)
Highlights:
Suitable for: Children 14 and up - everyone must be fit, strong swimmers and not afraid of water. Participants considering this (Trip 4) should be aware that each participant must be capable of helping to carry the raft and equipment over rough terrain for approximately 10 minutes at both the start and end of the trip. This means that each member of the crew (adult or youth) will be required to carry approximately 15 kg (35 lbs).
- This trip begins about 10km south of the resort and ends 300m from the resort.
- The Sunwapta trip starts with about 14 min of flat water time so participants can get used to commands and prepared for 45 min of great class III rafting.
- Individuals thinking about taking this trip must be fit strong swimmers and not afraid of water.
